If I am not satisfied, can I return my product?

How do I use the shampoo?

Apply the product to wet hair. Work into a rich lather. Leave on the scalp for 2 minutes for deep penetration and full absorption. Rinse. Allow 3 months of daily use (or atleast 3 times a week) for noticeable results. Continue use thereafter. For best results, use with PURA D'OR conditioner.

How many pumps should I use?

This depends on the length of your hair. For short hair we recommend 5-7 pumps. For medium length we recommend 9-11 pumps. Long hair, our recommendation is 12+ pumps. Feel free to experiment with this, this is only a suggestion. Personal preference and the hardness of your water may dictate how much you want to use.

I can't seem to work up a lather, why is that?

PURA D'OR does not use the chemical foaming agent, SLS, in their products. If you prefer more suds, simply use a few more pumps of shampoo to work up a nice lather.

Do I need to use conditioner?

For best results, we do recommend using conditioner. The shampoo is meant to give your hair and scalp a thorough cleanse. Some customers experience some dryness until their hair gets used to the PURA D'OR shampoo. To offset this, we highly recommend using the PURA D’OR conditioner which is formulated to hydrate and moisturize your hair.

Can I use PURA D'OR with other haircare products?

Yes, however, for maximum effectiveness we recommend using the entire PURA D'OR system.

Is the product safe for nursing/pregnant women and children?

All of our products are made with plant-based ingredients. We do suggest speaking with your primary care physician before use.

Do PURA D'OR products work for both men and women?

Absolutely! Our products are formulated for use by both men and women.

Do PURA D'OR products work well for all hair types?

Absolutely! Our products can be used on all hair types.

I started using the shampoo and my hair/scalp feels dry, what can I do?

This rarely happens, but if it does, it's temporary. Using regular shampoo can disrupt the scalp's natural balance of oils, effectively limiting the scalp's ability to create a healthy environment for strong, healthy hair. Our shampoos allow your scalp to naturally create the oils needed for healthy hair. The dry feeling usually does not last longer than a week, and can be reduced with conditioner. If the dryness persists, please give our Club Help Center a call at (844) 896-6462 Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM PST so that we can ensure that the appropriate therapy is being used.

What happens if I stop using the products?

The effect of the therapy will start to fade as the PURA D'OR biobased solutions are no longer provided. For best results, continued usage is encouraged.

How long will it take before I see results?

It takes about 3 months to see results when using the product at least 3 times a week. If you do wash your hair less often, please note that it may take a little longer to see results.

My pump didn't pop up when I turned it counter-clockwise; do you have any suggestions?

What are the differences between the Blue, Gold and Pro Line Hair Loss Shampoos?

The Blue Label Hair Loss Prevention Therapy Shampoo is for the first signs of hair thinning and hair loss due to breakage.The Gold Label Premium Organic Anti-Hair Loss Shampoo is for those who have visibly thinning hair and hair loss due to breakage. The Gold Label Shampoo has more ingredients to aid against hair loss due to breakge compared to the Blue Label Shampoo, as well as having a 100% Natural Preservative System. The Pro Organic Shampoo is our most premium line. The Pro Organic Line is for advanced stages of hair thinning and hair loss due to breakage.
